Welcome to your go-to guide for achieving the perfect sunless tan! While the Palm Beach Bronzed Sunless Tanning process is quick and easy, proper preparation and aftercare are crucial to maintain a gorgeous glow that looks flawless from head to toe.
Before Your Appointment
Spray tans require prep at least 24 hours or more before your session
- Exfoliate 24 hours prior to tanning At the very minimum 6 hours before tanning. Timing is crucial! Exfoliating the skin is the most important step for a flawless tan outcome!
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment to allow any irritation to subside and ensure a smooth application.
- Avoid wearing any lotion, deodorant, makeup or any products to your session.
- Wear dark, loose-fitting long pants, a baggy shirt and loose shoes or flip-flops to your appointment. Do NOT wear jeans, leggings, or dresses. Shortsare also not recommended.
I Got My Tan. Now What?
- Wait the given amount of processing time until rinsing with water only. This amount of time is very important for the proper development of the tan!
- After your first shower, pat your skin dry instead of rubbing to help maintain the tan.
- Avoid any activities that may provoke getting wet or sweating while your tan is processing.
- Always wear loose, dark clothing until rinse time.
- No. Lotion. Until. After. 24. Hours. Using and soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion within the first 24 hours will stop DHA’s job right in it’s tracts. This means that if you use any of the above mentioned before 24 hours, your tan may not turn out as intended.
- Chlorine can fade your tan, so try to limit your time in chlorinated pools or hot tubs.
- Excessive sweating, jacuzzis or saunas, taking long hot baths or showers often can cause faster fading.
- If you are a regular tanner, please be sure to exfoliate your tan off prior to a new application! This will ensure amazing, even and long-lasting results!

Why Spray Tan?
A lot of people ask this, especially since we’re in Palm Beach, where the sun is always shining.
Aside from our main concern of the damaging effects on your skin the sun causes, not to mention dangerous cancer-causing UV rays, most of us lead a busy life these days so finding the time to lay out and achieve an even tan isn’t always an option when you have a million other things to do.
Our mobile service is safe, convenient, and efficient. We will be in and out in no time at all, leaving you with nothing but a beautiful glow developing whilst you get back to whatever else you have to do whether that’s mommy duties, house chores, office work, etc.
Will I turn orange?
Absolutely not! The orange discoloration is due to improper application, color mixology, or improper skin care either before or after your spray tan. Follow our prep and aftercare instructions and you will be the perfect shade of bronze.
How long does a spray tan last?
A spray tan typically lasts between 5 to 10 days, depending on your skin type and how well you follow aftercare instructions.
Will a spray tan protect me from the sun?
No, a spray tan does not provide any protection from UV rays. It’s important to use sunscreen when exposed to the sun. Sunscreens that contain alcohol will dry your skin and strip your tan. (We highly suggest using SUN BUM branded sunscreen!)
How long does the appointment take?
Your spray tan will usually take 15–20 minutes, but we can’t get enough of you. Please allow 30mins,This includes set up, preparation, tanning, and clearing up as well as time to answer any questions you may have.
How many days before an event should I spray tan?
You will want to tan about 2 days before your event. For brides, we suggest tanning 2-3 days before the big day. Going on vacation? Tanning the day before leaving is best!
Can pregnant women get a spray tan?
While there are no known risks associated with spray tanning during pregnancy, it’s always best to consult with your healthcare provider before getting a spray tan.
